No tracking
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party resources when you browse it. All fonts, images and scripts are served from this site's own domain. Our data is processed exclusively within the European Union by a hosting provider acting as our processor under a GDPR-compliant data processing agreement and holding independently audited security certifications (including ISO/IEC 27001).
One exception you control: when you pick a language with the language selector, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage (key syn-lang) so the site can keep showing your language. It is functional storage for a feature you explicitly requested: it never leaves your device, is not a cookie, is read by no one but this site, and you can remove it at any time through your browser's site-data settings.
Contact form
When you submit the contact form we process your name, business name, e-mail address, message and IP address (the IP is used solely for abuse prevention). Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering the enquiry you send us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your message is delivered to our contactus@synergetic-it.nl mailbox within the European Union and is retained only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, at most 24 months, unless it leads to a business relationship.
Website chat
When you start a chat on our website we ask your name (and optionally your company) and process the messages you exchange with our team so we can help you. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The chat runs entirely on Microsoft Azure within the European Union under our data-processing agreement with Microsoft; your messages reach our team's internal work environment and are automatically deleted there no later than 30 days after your conversation ends. The chat service itself stores no message content: only a random session identifier kept in your browser and technical routing data, deleted on the same 30-day schedule. The identifier is not linked to your identity; the chat uses no cookies or tracking. Rate limits protect the service against abuse.
LinkedIn follow button
The "Follow" button in the footer loads content from LinkedIn only after you activate it with a click. From that moment LinkedIn receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy. Your choice is remembered in your browser, so on later visits the LinkedIn button loads automatically; clear this site's browser data to withdraw that choice. If you never activate it, no data goes to LinkedIn.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing at any time via contactus@synergetic-it.nl. We answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
